Rehabilitation services at Amar Seva Sangam
Our Rehabilitation Approach

Support where people live, learn and participate.

Rehabilitation at Amar Seva Sangam has developed from campus-based residential and therapy services into a broader model that also reaches persons with disabilities and their families within rural communities.

Services include multidisciplinary therapy, specialised rehabilitation, early intervention, family support, assistive technology, community rehabilitation, independent-living development and pathways towards education, skills and social participation.

The approach recognises that rehabilitation is not a single intervention, but a continuing process that may involve the individual, family, rehabilitation professionals, community workers and other support systems.

Community-based rehabilitation and family support
A Continuum of Support

From Early Identification to Community Inclusion.

Rehabilitation needs change with age, disability, health condition, environment and personal goals. Amar Seva Sangam's different programmes therefore work together to provide appropriate support at different stages of life.

A child may begin with early intervention and later transition to education and community participation. An adult may require specialised rehabilitation followed by skills, livelihood, assistive technology or community support.

This connected model aims to strengthen not only functional ability, but also independence, family participation and inclusion in society.
